In all fairness the top three entries would be selected by the designated Daytona International Speedway officials and posted on Facebook for fans to vote. Along with doing the honor of the flag-off, the fan will also get to be the honorary judge at one of the world’s most literally spiced competitions, which is the Rolex 24 At Daytona Chili Cook-off competition. Some other perks for the lucky “Mayor” include attendance at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Driver’s Meeting and the announcement of his or her name as the Mayor of Speedweeks 2010 at the pre-race stage during the pre-race ceremonies of the NextEra Energy Resources 250.
